![]() The brigade’s Soldiers, all trained in human intelligence, counterintelligence and signal intelligence, are fluent in a collective 19 documented languages, with a heavy orientation toward Arabic, Persian and Korean. With approximately 1,400 members, roughly 90 percent of the brigade is made up of trained Army linguists. The 300th provides linguistic support to U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, the Utah Army National Guard’s 300th Military Intelligence Brigade is the only linguist brigade in the entire Department of Defense (DoD).
